Héctor Esteban González
Héctor Esteban González graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in 1996 and a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering in 2002 from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In 1996 made a stay at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy, where he worked in the plant cover electromagnetic characterization. In 1997 started his doctoral studies at the European Topic Center on Soil of the European Environment Agency in the development of a georeferenced database of desertification risk. In 1998 he returned to the Polytechnic University of Valencia as Associate Professor, and is currently Associate Professor, Director of the Department of Communications and Director of the Master in Technology, Communications Systems and Networks. His main area of research is the development of methods of analysis and design of antennas and passive devices for high frequency communications, but has also worked in the electromagnetic characterization of dielectric and magnetic materials, and accelerating electromagnetic analysis methods using wavelets and rapid method multipole (FMM).
