Abstract: The overall objective of the project is the creation of an efficient software tool for analysis and design of filter cavities with dielectric resonators for space communications. The dielectric filter are an emerging technology and an alternative to the guided filters technology. The main advantages of the filters with dielectrics are lower mass and volume, critical aspects of a satellite equipment, as well as stability in higher temperatures.
